Tired As F**k.
My weekly diary series shares my thoughts and why they matter.
If you read the title, congratulations you’ve made it this far!
I was wondering if people would resonate with the title as it states how I feel on a daily basis living on this planet.
I thought lets change it up a bit and make it seem more interesting.
There’s some gossip in town, that I was very interested in sharing below.
So I have some distant relatives that live nearby and we didn’t know we were related until roughly 8 years ago. This is the Indian family that other families aspire to. The mother represents herself as a white suburban mother who has it all — the job, the money, and the lovely son.
The son’s life had cards set up in the right order, all the dominos fell in place so he could go to Harvard since 5th grade. While I have respect for both of the parents, I really hate the fact that they ignored to respect us.
Everywhere we walked, we were ignored — simply because I was never considered the same status as her son. Blatant disrespect felt like I was talking to a wall. If I engaged in her conversations, I was met with rebuff.
Something changed a few days ago and I have no idea what.
