What millennials have told me and is age just a number?

I don’t know what it is about women who hit 32, but they are completely in denial. I won’t take my words back.

It’s a combination of insecurity, seeing someone younger who may have a more refined outlook, and feeling left behind in life, that triggers their denial.

I understand why, but then when they continue to explain their perspective, that’s where I get worried.

It starts with believing they know a certain mindset right, let’s say having supposed “high standards,” but then their actions, their belief systems reflect the polar opposite.

If someone starts talking to them with conviction, and they embody these standards — — it’s considered a threat.

Another mindset they could talk about but never embody, is anything spirtually related. I’m talking being spiritually oriented but their actions are far from it (i.e prone to coping mechanisms and addictions).

How dare someone younger challenge the more expertise — the older person with more wisdom?

Age is just a number.

Mindset and maturity are dependent on circumstances, and how you were raised. It’s also about how open you are to learning and growing everyday.
