Hate and Serve the Collective
Kendrick Lamar teaches us a way of activism.
If women of color should pay attention to anything it’s how Kendrick Lamar operates in the business world. The Super Bowl was icing on the cake.
I normally wouldn’t comment on the Super Bowl or halftime show for that matter — but this was too cute to pass up on.
He looked like a cinnamon roll while being a hater and I loved it (don't quote me, quote Twitter).
There is one thing the public was oblivious to, that I caught onto.
Kendrick is a strategic businessman — and he’s not audacious every second.
He’s audacious when it benefits him — he knows how hard it is to deal with this industry.
He’s also a master of his craft, and passionate about it.
When you’re passionate about your craft, and you’re competent about it — that’s where the magic happens.
Competency is key.
Whether capitalism or oligarchy takes over the world in any period of time, having a business mindset will continue to flourish.
He also served the collective by opening everyone’s eyes to “they not like us.”
