Are You Open-Minded Pt. 2
There’s a difference between intellectualizing and challenging yourself.

Most people are not open-minded. There I said it.
Do you know why? They fail to challenge their perspective. We appreciate diversity of people but not diversity of thought.
And that’s why people hear what they’re triggered by rather than assessing their worldview is hindering them in life.
Let’s talk about the words growth mindset and ambition in particular.
It’s a corporate, industrialist facade catered toward the white man's gaze.
Why do I say that? People find it easier to measure human behavior as per the white man's gaze — after all, we are trained in our lineage (colonialism, to late-stage capitalism). These systems are man-made, and more importantly, simply a widespread social phenomenon where people rarely understand it’s a mindset at the end of the day. Most of our problems are a complex set of mindsets and ideas.
